In 1988, he founded his own label, Mitsven Surfboardsbecoming one of the direct heirs to the style of Skip Fryehis friend and mentor. Today, with over 50 years of shaping behind him, Bob remains a worldwide reference for his Eggs, Fish, Gliders and longboards shampooed by hand, with a purist, minimalist approach.
